Montana Pasture and Farm Land Values Remain Unchanged for 2010

According to information from the National Agricultural Statistics Service, farm land values in Montana are estimated at $700 per acre and remain unchanged from 2009. Only two states had lower values for farm land than Montana and those states were Wyoming and New Mexico. The average value for farm land in the US is $2,140 and has increase by a percentage of 1.4 since 2009.

Pasture land values in Montana were valued at $530 per acre. This value was also unchanged from 2009 and is higher than the neighboring states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming as well as New Mexico and Nebraska. The average value in the US for pasture land is $1,070 per acre and remains unchanged from 2009.
